Stephanie leads People and Legal Affairs for Centivo.
Before joining Centivo, Stephanie founded solve& consulting, a management consulting firm working with boards, executives and entrepreneurs on strategy and organizational effectiveness. Prior to that, Stephanie served in senior human resources roles at Rich Products and Bureau Veritas where she advised senior leadership teams and led the development and implementation of leading practice people processes. Earlier in her career Stephanie was tenure track faculty at Medaille College, director of human resources at Catholic Health, confidential law clerk in federal court and a practicing insurance and malpractice defense attorney.
Stephanie also serves as an independent director for Allied Mineral Products, a 43North judge and mentor, an adjunct professor in the University at Buffalo School of Management and as the Executive in Residence with UB’s Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness. She is a member of Women in the Boardroom and The Buffalo Angels and is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
Stephanie holds a BA in speech pathology, a JD with concentration in commercial law and an MBA with concentrations in human resources and health care – all from University at Buffalo.
Alan leads product development for Centivo.
Prior to Centivo, he was a co-founder of Liazon, operator of the industry’s leading private benefits exchanges for active employees, and after its acquisition, led product development and strategy across Willis Towers Watson’s exchange offerings. Prior to Liazon, Alan was CEO and co-founder of Online Benefits, which was acquired by A.D.A.M., and then served as President of A.D.A.M. Prior to Online Benefits, he worked in the insurance industry for Prudential, Mass Mutual, CIGNA, and managed an insurance brokerage.
Alan is the author of the book “Employee Benefits and the New Healthcare Landscape”, and is quoted frequently in the press, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Employee Benefits News, and more. He serves on the board of several early stage companies, and is an advisor to Blue Heron Capital.
Alan holds a BA from Cornell University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an MBA from London Business School.
Dominic DePiano is the Head of Network at Centivo.
Prior to joining Centivo, he was VP of Network Management at Anthem BCBS in New York.
Dom has extensive experience in network management and contracting, and prior to his time at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield worked at Aetna as Director of Network Management. Dom is a subject matter expert in value-based contracting and network design and leads Centivo’s network development strategy.
Dom received his undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the University of New Haven.
Sarah is the Chief Client Success Officer at Centivo.
Sarah comes to Centivo from her role as Senior Vice President, Client Success at Collective Health. During her tenure there she scaled the team, structure and operations required to support the strong growth of the company. She worked closely with the clinical and data science teams to establish value-based metrics and reporting, and collaborated with clients and consultants in implementing strategies that improved cost and quality outcomes.
Prior to Collective Health, Sarah spent more than 14 years at Mercer in various leadership roles. Most recently she was the Northern California Market Leader. Her time in consulting was focused on working with C-Suites and boards of large, multinational companies advising on risk management strategies as well as designing differentiated employee experiences that deliver measurable impact on corporate results.
Sarah holds an undergraduate degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from Western University (Canada) and is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
Dr. Wayne Jenkins is the Chief Medical Officer at Centivo.
He is an accomplished physician and executive with a proven track record of patient-centered, revenue-driven results. Over the course of his career, he’s consistently transformed large, complex healthcare systems into market leaders that deliver quality and value in a dynamically changing environment.
Prior to Centivo, he was the Chief Clinical Officer for Population Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he provided clinical oversight of value-based care delivery and completed the formation of Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Before his time at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Orlando Health, as well as President of Orlando Health Physician Partners. Previously, Wayne was the chief of radiation oncology and then subsequently the medical director for the Florida affiliate of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, a subsidiary of Orlando Health, Inc.
Wayne holds a BA from the University of Tennessee, an MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and a Master’s of Health Policy and Administration from Johns Hopkins University. He is board-certified in radiation oncology and was recognized in Best Doctors in America annually from 1994 to 2015. He’s published 18 scientific articles and is often sought out to speak at state and national conferences.
Boris leads the digital product and partnerships teams at Centivo.
Boris is responsible for defining digital strategy and managing third-party partners across Centivo products.
Boris has +15 years of experience working in healthcare across a variety of areas, including provider, pharma and health IT. Prior to Centivo, Boris worked at several early-stage healthcare technology companies, including Symbiosis Health and CareSync. Boris began his career as a consultant at Michael Allen Company leading quantitative studies to optimize the sales and marketing for healthcare companies.
Boris holds a Bachelor of Science from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Elle leads Growth Enablement at Centivo.
Elle joined Centivo in 2020 after most recently spending time at Meta on the benefit strategy team. During her tenure at Meta, Elle was responsible for the US self-funded medical plan strategy. She was also responsible for designing and managing programs at the company focused on fertility, oncology and pharmacy.
Prior to Meta, Elle was a consultant at Mercer where she worked with employers on their healthcare management and benefits strategy. Elle specialized in value-based care, behavioral health and onsite clinic strategy. In addition to leading and working closely with large, complex employers, she was also a member of Mercer’s Center for Health Innovation and Total Health Management teams.
Elle received her BA in Public Health from University of California Berkeley.
Ryan is the Chief Revenue Officer at Centivo.
Ryan brings over two decades of healthcare experience to Centivo. His most recent role was leading the commercial sales team in the East for Everside Health, a national leader in employer-sponsored primary care. As a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, Ryan contributed to unprecedented growth with employers in both private and public sectors. Prior to Everside Health, Ryan served as the Executive Vice President of Compass Health Brands, where he spearheaded growth initiatives across two business units and played a pivotal role in multiple acquisitions.
Committed to addressing access and affordability challenges for working-class families, Ryan holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Rockhurst University and an MBA from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
Enrique serves as Centivo’s Chief Technology Officer.
He brings more than 25 years of health plan and business transformation experience to Centivo. Enrique joins the firm from Point32Health, where he most recently served as Vice President of Integration. In this role he developed the integration roadmap and drove its execution that brought together two multi-billion-dollar regional health insurers. Earlier in his career, Enrique held senior positions of increasing responsibility at Point32Health, Tufts Health Plan, Aetna and Deloitte Consulting.
Enrique holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona.
Dave leads actuarial and data analytics work for Centivo.
He brings over 30 years of experience in employer-sponsored health care, including program design, operation and ongoing financial management. His expertise with comprehensive employer health strategies for both active and retired employees informs many of Centivo’s solutions. Previously, Dave worked for Willis Towers Watson, including serving as the firm’s Chief Health Actuary for many years. He had previously worked at two other consulting firms and at Aetna Life and Casualty’s health insurance operation. He is quoted frequently in the press including USA Today, the New York Times, Business Insurance and many others.
Dave holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is also one of the three members appointed to the US Department of Defense’s Board of Actuaries.
Tina is responsible for managing the accounting, finance, and administration functions for Centivo.
Before joining Centivo, Tina was the Controller at Retech Systems, LLC, where she oversaw the accounting and finance functions. During her tenure at Retech Systems, she worked with the new leadership team to implement new strategies, policies, and procedures to help the company attain profitability after a long period of losses.
Prior to Retech Systems, Tina was the Director of Accounting for Reverie, where she also oversaw the accounting and finance functions. Previously, Tina served as the Controller of Liazon, operator of the industry-leading private benefits exchange for businesses across the U.S. Before joining Liazon, Tina worked for several start-up companies in industries that included manufacturing, healthcare, and software development. Her background also includes prior experience at a TPA, North American Health Plans (now known as Meritain Health), early in her career.
Tina holds a BS from the State University of New York at Geneseo and earned the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Gillian is a Strategic Growth Leader at Centivo.
Gillian joined Centivo in 2019 after 30 years in employer-sponsored health care. Before joining Centivo, Gillian was a senior partner in Mercer’s health business, where she held multiple leadership roles focused on relationship management and service delivery for some of the largest employers in the country. Earlier in her career, Gillian managed employer health and welfare benefits in both the public and private sector and managed operations for a BCBS plan. She is known for integrating her health care expertise with her passion for workforce diversity, mentorship, and giving back. She’s an advocate for women in business, having been the North American executive sponsor of Women@Mercer and named one of Diversity Journal’s “Women Worth Watching” in 2013.
Gillian holds a BA in international studies from the Johns Hopkins University.
Stuart oversees business administration along with other management activities.
Prior to Centivo, Stuart spent 15 years with benefits consulting firm Willis Towers Watson and its legacy companies in various consulting, strategy, and program management roles – most recently as leader of strategy implementation for the Exchange Solutions segment – which developed and delivered health & benefit exchange products and services to employers of all sizes. In other roles, he served as COO of a pension risk management venture, co-leader of Towers Watson’s merger integration team, and an internal strategy consultant.
Stuart began his career as a healthcare analyst with a boutique firm working on reform initiatives with federal and state agencies, and spent five years as a Congressional aide on Capitol Hill covering healthcare, education, and labor issues.
He holds a BA, Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations, and MBA from Cornell University.
Dallas is President, TPA Services & Chief Delivery Officer at Centivo.
Dallas joined Centivo with over a decade of experience at ValueHealth Benefit Administrators in Wichita, Kansas where he most recently led both the TPA business unit as well as their risk/captive. In his work, Dallas helped lead substantial improvements in operating performance at Value Health’s TPA with respect to claims processing, call center metrics and financial performance. His work spanned using traditional networks as well as innovative models such as direct contracts, bundled payments and reference-based pricing to access healthcare. Dallas is well-known in the TPA industry, including as a frequent speaker at conferences such as SIIA and HCAA and as a member of Zelis’ external advisory board.
Dallas holds a BA in Public Affairs Journalism from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Liberal Arts from Baker University Graduate School.
Ashok founded Centivo in 2017 after observing the inefficiency in the healthcare system and the pain that has resulted for employers and employees.
Prior to Centivo, Ashok co-founded Liazon, operator of the nation’s industry-leading private benefits exchange for active employees. Liazon was acquired by Willis Towers Watson in 2013, and after the acquisition, Ashok served as Managing Director for Willis Towers Watson’s Group Exchange business. Prior to Liazon, Ashok was an Associate Principal at McKinsey and Co., where he served as a leader in the firm’s healthcare and private equity practices.
In addition to his role at Centivo, Ashok serves as a senior advisor to Silversmith Capital, a growth equity firm.
Ashok received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, a Master’s degree from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
