Key Industry Players Join in a Collaborative Effort to Change the Healthcare Industry Through New Health Plan Model Offering Affordability and Quality

New York; February 27, 2019 – Centivo, a new type of self-funded health plan administrator, announced today the addition of four senior leaders. This move readies the company to successfully execute on its mission to bring cost sustainability to employers and affordable, high-quality healthcare to working Americans. ​The new leadership hires include:


  • Wayne Jenkins, MD, an accomplished physician and executive with a proven track record of transforming large, complex healthcare systems into market leaders. Before joining Centivo, Wayne was the chief clinical officer for population health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he provided clinical oversight of value-based care delivery and completed the formation of Medicare accountable care organizations. Before his time at Vanderbilt, he served as the senior vice president and chief strategy officer of Orlando Health, as well as president of Orlando Health Physician Partners. Previously, Wayne was the chief of radiation oncology and then later the medical director for the Florida affiliate of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Wayne is board-certified in radiation oncology, was recognized in Best Doctors in America annually from 1994 to 2015, and has published 18 scientific articles. Wayne will serve as chief medical officer at Centivo.

  • Glenn McLellan, who has spent over 30 years and has served over 200 clients in the self-funded healthcare space as president and owner of McLellan Consulting Services. Glenn has provided professional insight to a wide range of companies, including employers, third party administrators (TPAs), insurance carriers, brokers and consultants, managing general underwriters, and healthcare providers. Glenn is a frequent speaker for industry trade groups such as the Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) and the Society for Professional Benefit Administrators (SPBA). He has architected Centivo’s TPA operations and will lead middle market sales and account management.

  • Mary Tracy Mock, who brings over 30 years of experience in leading and managing clinically integrated networks, bundled payment arrangements, value-based care programs, healthcare systems, and health plans. Most recently Mary was vice president, network development & provider contracting for Friday Health Plans, where she supported the service area expansion into the metro Denver marketplace. Mary also served as a strategic advisor for PeakMed Direct Primary Care and ValidCare, where she supported emerging value-based care, digital health enterprises, employer/administrator relationships, and regulatory positioning. At Centivo, Mary will lead provider network development.

  • Paul Wann, who has 30 years of healthcare industry experience with a strong focus on the payor perspective. Paul has continued to push innovative solutions to improve population health and create leading-edge methods for financing healthcare. Before Centivo, Paul was chief operations officer at Consociate, focusing on operations optimization, IT functions, and corporate strategic planning. Before Consociate, Paul was a senior director and solution architect for ikaSystems (now known as Visiant). At Centivo, Paul will be responsible for operations.

These new hires will serve as key members of the leadership team and will contribute to the overall direction of the company.
